Run large format protein or nucleic acid gels on these versatile units

 • Unsurpassed versatility - designed to adapt to changing methodologies. Can run 3 different length gels, preparative gels, large format SDS-PAGE and DNA/RNA gels or sequencing gels on the same unit by ordering appropriate accessories. Glass plates and spacers are available in heights of 22cm, 32cm and 42cm.

• A wide selection of precision-machined combs are available.

• Compressible, long-lasting silicone gasket on face of unit provides leak-proof seal when glass plates are clamped in place.

• Gel-Wrap™ casting system makes gel casting quick and easy for gel thicknesses of 0.75mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm.

• Bottom buffer reservoir(s) conveniently detaches from base of unit for ease in cleaning and disposal of buffer.

• Accessory anodized aluminum cooling plates can be ordered to clamp onto glass plates to evenly distribute the heat generated during electrophoresis.

• This system can be used for fluorescence based assays whose images can be captured on a scanner directly through optional borosilicate glass plates.
